In an interview with Under the Radar magazine, Broadcast's James Cargill explained that he's working on a new album, the group's first release since the death of singer Trish Keenanearly this year. There's no word on a release date yet, but Cargill says the album will include vocals from Keenan that were recorded before her death. "Trish left a lot of tapes, four-tracks and stuff, and I've been going through those. It's difficult, and I'm connected to it at the same time. It's wonderful, but I'm also feeling a sense of loss," he said.
Cargill also said that he's working on a score for the Peter Strickland film Berberian Sound Studio, which he began with Keenan. Below, watch the video for Broadcast's "Come On Let's Go", off their 2000 album The Noise Made by People.
